 What Our Volunteers Do

Volunteering with us can look a little different for everyone, and that’s what makes it special. Many volunteers spend time one-on-one with a client. Sitting together, talking, reading, or simply offering company to someone who may feel lonely. Others enjoy bringing activities into the facility for residents to watch or participate in, which always adds something fun and new to their day.

Some volunteers help by dropping off food items, donating household supplies like linens, kitchenware, or other useful items that support our homes. Many also choose to purchase small gifts or personal items that brighten a resident’s week.

We also love when volunteers join us out in the community for outings, whether it’s a trip to the zoo, a walk in the park, or another group activity. These moments give our residents the chance to connect, explore, and enjoy time with someone new who’s there simply to make the experience more fun.

However you choose to help, volunteers play a meaningful role in creating connection, comfort, and joy for the people we serve.
